Basketball Recap: Red Bank Regional Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Red Bank Regional won the last time they faced Barnegat and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Bank Regional Bucs enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over the Barnegat Bengals. Given the Bucs' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Bengals are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Red Bank Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Barnegat, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
