Colerain won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals blew past the Knights 23-14. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their one-run performance the game before.

Alexa Hartwig made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off five hits. Hartwig was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
