Basketball Game Preview: Webster County Trojans vs. Henderson County Colonels

The Webster County Trojans will head out to take on the Henderson County Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Webster County has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

Webster County will face Henderson County after dropping another heartbreaker against Union County on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 3.1 of beating them. Webster County had to suffer through a 84-45 loss at the hands of Union County.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Henderson County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Evansville Memorial.

Webster County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Henderson County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Webster County came up short against Henderson County when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 41-35. Can Webster County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
