Thomas Baranski turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than one earned runs surrendered on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Fitzgerald is 6-3 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-8 otherwise.
