Kaleb (Bubba) Burras Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Heritage Academy's Kaleb (Bubba) Burras, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. (Bubba) Burras rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 57 yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.4). Heritage Academy is 4-1 when (Bubba) Burras posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

If history really does repeat itself, (Bubba) Burras might just drop another big game when he faces off against Chandler Prep on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time (Bubba) Burras saw the Titans), he rushed for 383 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and two touchdowns.

Paul Soltero's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heritage Academy over San Tan Charter

Paul Soltero put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 122 yards on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown.

If history really does repeat itself, Soltero might just drop another big game when he faces off against Chandler Prep on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Soltero saw the Titans), he picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

San Tan Charter Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Benny Sharpe

Benny Sharpe's big game helped extend San Tan Charter's winning streak to eight on Friday. Sharpe did his part (and then some), rushing for 70 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries for the 'W'. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.

San Tan Charter pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Sharpe and San Tan Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arete Prep at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Uriah Neloms and Co. Win Eighth in a Row

Uriah Neloms was instrumental in extending San Tan Charter's winning streak to eight on Friday. Neloms was dynamite, rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 110 yards and a touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.

On the year, Neloms has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 153.1 passing yards per game.

Chandler Prep Gets a Boost from Crawford in 31-13 Victory

Rounding off our Top Five is Aaron Crawford of Chandler Prep. Crawford picked up 220 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.

Crawford and Chandler Prep will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Crawford will face off against Paul Soltero, the Heroes' star receiver. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.
