Volleyball Preview: Mott Marauders vs. Center Line Panthers
Mott has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. After both having extra time off, they and the Center Line Panthers will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. Mott will be strutting in after a win while Center Line will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Mott finally turned things around against Hazel Park last Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Vikings 1-0.
Meanwhile, Center Line was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to New Haven.
Mott's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Center Line, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Mott was able to grind out a solid win over Center Line when the teams last played back in September of 2019, winning 3-1. Does Mott have another victory up their sleeve, or will Center Line turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
