Baseball Recap: North Buncombe Takes a Loss

North Buncombe was the 7-4 winner over Erwin when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Black Hawks took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Thursday.

North Buncombe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grey Reedy, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

North Buncombe's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Erwin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Buncombe will face off against Enka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erwin, they will challenge McDowell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
