Soccer Recap: West Florida Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when West Florida challenged Booker T. Washington on Thursday. The West Florida Jaguars lost 6-1 to the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wildcats are ranked first).

West Florida's goal came courtesy of Ellison Middleton, who's now up to five this season.

West Florida is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-4-3. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1.

As of now, neither West Florida nor Booker T. Washington have any future games scheduled.
