Basketball Recap: Southern Valley Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Southern Valley won against Arapahoe last Thursday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Southern Valley Eagles walked away with a 50-39 win over the Hitchcock County Falcons. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Despite the loss, Hitchcock County still got an impressive performance from Madysen Carlson, who posted 15 points and seven boards. Carlson's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Hagan, who earned 13 points and three steals.
