Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Jacksonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Central Arkansas Christian are ranked sixth).

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Central Arkansas Christian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Jacksonville and Central Arkansas Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Jacksonville sees the pitch they'll take on Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Central Arkansas Christian, their break will end when they face Heber Springs at 7:00 p.m. on April 4.
