Lincoln Christian has no trouble against Stilwell

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs walked away with it. They took down the Indians 56-38 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for Lincoln Christian who now have nine in a row.

Lincoln Christian found their leader in underclassman Maddi Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Audrey Hopkins, who scored 16 points.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Prairie Holmes, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Snowda Watie, who scored nine points along with six steals.

Even though they lost, Stilwell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln Christian only pulled down five offensive rebounds.

Lincoln Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season. As for Stilwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.

Lincoln Christian and Glenpool will face off on March 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Oklahoma (Glenpool is ranked seventh, while Lincoln Christian is ranked eighth).
