Basketball Recap: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Seneca Bobcats

Greer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-26 loss at the hands of the Seneca Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-40 on January 9th.

Seneca's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miyana Chamberlain led the charge by shooting 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Chamberlain's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Savannah Weston was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten boards.

Greer's record now sits at 3-16. As for Seneca, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.
