Softball Recap: David Anderson Victorious

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither David Anderson nor Aquinas made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Blue Devils walked away with a 5-1 win over the Knights.

Kamryn Peruchetti spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, David Anderson's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Pickens, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

David Anderson's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Aquinas, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

David Anderson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against Chaney on the 19th. As for Aquinas, they have also already played their next contest, a 26-1 loss against Lake Center Christian on the 21st.
