Softball Recap: Bunn Gets the Win

While Bunn's victory against East Wake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Warriors on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Brooke Harrah was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Maycey Buchanan, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Bunn now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Wake, their record is now 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bunn will challenge Wilson Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Wake, they will take on Franklinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
