Basketball Recap: Lake Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mansfield last Tuesday, Lake Ridge came back down to earth. The Lake Ridge Eagles took a hard 50-35 fall against the North Crowley Panthers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Panthers are ranked 42nd).

Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for North Crowley, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Ridge will welcome Crowley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Crowley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weatherford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
