Volleyball Recap: Northridge Gets the Win

Northridge won the last time they faced Marion and things went their way on Saturday too. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Giants.

Among those leading the charge was Sami Kantz, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Brooklyn Harris also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Northridge was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Northridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Marion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Northridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Eastbrook on the 30th. As for Marion, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bluffton at 7:00 p.m.
