Rock Island's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing nine hits and seven walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Rocks have allowed just 210 hits, while striking out 137 batters. Erickson leads the Rocks with 43 strikeouts in 39 innings.
Jake Scudder went 4-4 as Galesburg defeated Rock Island 5-2 on Thursday.
