Softball Game Preview: San Manuel Miners vs. Hayden Lobos

The San Manuel Miners will head out to challenge the Hayden Lobos at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Manuel is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Mogollon hit San Manuel with a 18-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Miners lost 19-1 to the Mustangs.

San Manuel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Steele, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Leanna Duke also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Hayden suffered their closest loss since March 15, 2025 on Friday. They fell just short of Ray by a score of 3-1.

Hayden now has a losing record of 5-6. As for San Manuel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

San Manuel suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Hayden in their previous matchup last Friday. Can the Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
