Jackson hadn't beaten Hillsboro on the road since September 16, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Ironman/Ironladies never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Jackson have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Jackson's third in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Hillsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Jackson will venture away from home to challenge Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson will be up against Chillicothe's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.64 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hillsboro, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lynchburg-Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
