Football Recap: Rosewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Goldsboro last Friday, Rosewood came back down to earth. The Eagles took a blow against the James Kenan Tigers on Friday, falling 49-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Tigers are ranked 138th).

Connor Smith threw for 43 yards on five of nine attempts.

Rosewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for James Kenan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Rosewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 40-0 win against Spring Creek on the 3rd. As for James Kenan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 42-22 victory against Midway on the 3rd.
