Basketball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Zephyrhills Bulldogs.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Zephyrhills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Eastside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-11 win against Alonso on the 28th. Zephyrhills has also already played their next match, a 39-34 victory against Melbourne on the 28th.
