Frederick has gone 9-1 against North Hagerstown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Frederick Cadets will head out on the road to square off against the North Hagerstown Hubs at 7:00 p.m. Frederick knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully North Hagerstown likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Frederick didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Governor Thomas Johnson, but they still walked away with a 70-66 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when North Hagerstown faced off against South Hagerstown on Tuesday. North Hagerstown came out on top against South Hagerstown by a score of 71-59. Winning may never get old, but the Hubs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Frederick better keep an eye on Landon Somerville. He was instrumental in North Hagerstown's win, almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine boards. Somerville has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 20 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Joey Dorsey, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine assists.

North Hagerstown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive contests.

North Hagerstown's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Frederick, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Frederick lost to North Hagerstown on the road by a decisive 81-63 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Dorsey, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds.
