Baseball Recap: First Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

First Baptist Academy managed to slip by Southwest Florida Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 11-1 to the King's on Tuesday.

First Baptist Academy got a good showing from Josh Lysiak, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those zero earned runs gave Lysiak a new career-low.

First Baptist Academy's record now sits at 11-6-1. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. First Baptist Academy will challenge Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they will take on Clewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
