Scurry-Rosser proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Palmer Bulldogs 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Scurry-Rosser who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 18-25, 15-9.

Scurry-Rosser's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Palmer, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Scurry-Rosser is set to face off against their familiar foe Keene at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Palmer will challenge rival Rice at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
