Baseball Recap: Eagle Rock Comes Up Short

Eagle Rock lost against Bravo on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Jaden Jimenez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Andrew Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle Rock and nudges their season record down to 4-13. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Bravo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

As of now, neither Eagle Rock nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
