Football Recap: Heard County Braves vs. Bowdon Red Devils

Heard County was the 21-0 winner over Bowdon when they last played one another back in October of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Heard County Braves took a hard 35-21 fall against the Bowdon Red Devils on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Red Devils are ranked 105th).

Despite the defeat, Heard County saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Tisdale threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 78 yards on only 11 carries.
