Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Syracuse). They never let the Morgan Trojans get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Taylee Hughes as she scored three goals for her team.

Syracuse's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. As for Morgan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Syracuse didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Woods Cross on the 2nd. As for Morgan, they will host Ogden at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Morgan their first taste of in-conference action this season.
