Softball Recap: Kosciusko Comes Up Short

Kosciusko suffered their closest defeat since April 8, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Caledonia Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. The Whippets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Kosciusko's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-8. As for Caledonia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Kosciusko has already played their next game (against Ethel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Caledonia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-3 defeat against East Central on the 12th.
