Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Layton Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fabiana Lopez, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and six steals. Lopez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Knight-Paris, who posted 11 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Judge Memorial Catholic was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They had to suffer through a 72-18 loss at the hands of Ridgeline. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-5.

Judge Memorial Catholic moved to 7-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Layton Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Layton Christian Academy came up short against Judge Memorial Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 46-42. Can Layton Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
