Soccer Game Preview: John Carroll Catholic vs. Okeechobee

The John Carroll Catholic Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

John Carroll Catholic managed to slip by Master's Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Patriots last Thursday, falling 3-0. John Carroll Catholic fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Master's Academy since last Thursday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Okeechobee made sure to put some goals up on the board against Clewiston last Friday. They blew past the Tigers 6-3. It was an even better day for Rodolfo Gomez as he scored three goals for his team.

John Carroll Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Okeechobee, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

John Carroll Catholic suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Okeechobee in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
