Volleyball Recap: Sundance Falls Short Against Ranked Alliance

Sundance is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Alliance. Sundance fell just short of Alliance by a score of 2-1. Sundance's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Jaylin Mills paced Sundance's offense, picking up 15 kills. Mills got some help from Annika Haugen and her 17 assists. Blakely Gill controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sundance's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Alliance, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Sundance will take on Rapid City Central at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alliance, they will head out on the road to face off against Scottsbluff on Tuesday.
