Parkway West won the last time they faced MICDS and things went their way on Thursday too. The Longhorns came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Parkway West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Katie Byergo paced Parkway West's offense, picking up 15 kills. Byergo got some help from Elle Lanfersieck and her 31 assists. Lyla Surtin controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Parkway West's win bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for MICDS, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
