Baseball Recap: Colony Knights vs. South Anchorage Wolverines

After flying high against North Pole in their first game on Saturday, Colony came back down to earth. The Colony Knights took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Anchorage Wolverines in their second game on Saturday. Colony has not had much luck with South Anchorage recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Colony saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Parrent, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Wilson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Colony now has a losing record at 2-3. As for South Anchorage, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Colony is on the road again on Tuesday to play Wasilla at 6:30 p.m. Colony is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season. As for South Anchorage, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Soldotna at 9:30 p.m. on April 27th.
