Baseball Recap: Nokomis Warriors vs. Messalonskee Eagles
After flying high against Erskine Academy last Tuesday, Nokomis came back down to earth. The Nokomis Warriors lost 17-5 to the Messalonskee Eagles on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Nokomis of the 11-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Nokomis now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Messalonskee, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
