Preview: Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves vs. Brocton Bulldogs
The Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brocton Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley pushed their score all the way to 59 back in December of 2023, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 71-59 to Gowanda. Cattaraugus-Little Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Cattaraugus-Little Valley got a solid performance out of Camden Young, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Young has scored all season. Nyquan Boswell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, Brocton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clymer Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brocton has scored all season.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Brocton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
