Softball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oaks Christian Lions, falling 11-5.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Oaks Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

King wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 loss against Poway on the 5th. As for Oaks Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Millikan on the 5th.
