Seventy-First is 8-2 against Hoke County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Bucks at 7:30 p.m. Hoke County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Seventy-First, who comes in off a win.

While Falcons fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Saturday's season opener. They slipped by Parris Prep Academy 66-65 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hoke County suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They lost 68-43 to Trinity Christian. The loss was the Bucks' first of the season.

Seventy-First will have to contain Josiah Jacobs as he made an impact in Hoke County's last game. He went 6-for-13 on his way to 13 points and eight boards. Jacobs is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. Savion Kinston was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards.

Seventy-First was able to grind out a solid victory over Hoke County in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 60-53. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Bucks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
