League recap: Hagerman tops Butte County to extend winning streak

Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A Snake River (8 Man) this week, Hagerman beat Butte County 56-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Pirates.

Challis took down Rimrock 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

5-foot-10 quarterback Kade Kress of Hagerman is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,217. He has also thrown 32 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Billy Sensabaugh. The Challis star has 34 catches for 635 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Vikings and Raft River. Challis enters the game ranked 12th in the state, while the Trojans ranks eighth.

Josh Franks' team's Ruger Piva is a mere 63 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 119 carries Piva has accumulated 937 yard this year.

The Vikings led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on the Raiders.
