Doral Academy won the last time they faced St. Brendan and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Doral Academy Firebirds skirted past the St. Brendan Sabres 6-4.

Jordan Tamargo looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Dylan Prince was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. George Pardo Jr. was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Doral Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Brendan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doral Academy will host Southridge at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Doral Academy has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Brendan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Immaculata-La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Brendan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Immaculata-La Salle's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
