Basketball Recap: Stockbridge Comes Up Short

Stockbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagle's Landing Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Eagles are ranked 61st).

Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Eagle's Landing, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Stockbridge nor Eagle's Landing have any future games scheduled.
