Recap: South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy vs. Murdock
Murdock won the last time they faced South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Murdock were the clear victor with a 36-6 margin. They were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Murdock's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 22 points in the first half. Meanwhile, South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 22-0 heading into the break. The Murdock defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. This was the first game for both teams, giving Murdock a 1-0 record and starting South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy off at 0-1.
Next week Murdock take on North at 7:00 PM. As for South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy, they will face off against Ware.
