Baseball Recap: Cypress Park Comes Up Short

Cypress Park lost against Langham Creek last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 9-8. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Gio Salda?a was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Nathan Schomburg was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Cypress Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Langham Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Park will welcome Jersey Village at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Langham Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waller at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
