Football Game Preview: Garner-Hayfield/Ventura vs. Southeast Valley

Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will take on Southeast Valley at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They captured a comfortable 40-21 win over Lincoln Central. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Southeast Valley had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 48-41 victory over Spirit Lake. The success made it back-to-back wins for Southeast Valley.

Their wins bumped Southeast Valley to 4-2 and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura to 2-4. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura and Southeast Valley will really light up the scoreboard.
