It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact El Monte can now relate to. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynwood Knights on Friday. Despite 175 more yards than the Knights, the Lions couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Do rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while Taboada rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
