Basketball Recap: Hays-Lodge Pole Victorious

Hays-Lodge Pole hadn't done well against North Star recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds came out on top against the North Star Knights by a score of 37-29. This was a revenge game for the Thunder Birds: when they faced off against the Knights back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-40 defeat.

Hays-Lodge Pole's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for North Star, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Box Elder the next time they take the court. North Star will host Box Elder at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Hays-Lodge Pole will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
