East Poinsett County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Riverside Rebels with points to spare, taking the game 63-44. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 65-54 victory the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Jarius James had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was AJ Johnson, who shot 56% from the field en route to 11 points.

East Poinsett County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Riverside, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2.

East Poinsett County has already played their next matchup, a 78-73 victory against Gosnell on the 13th. As for Riverside, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
