Basketball Recap: Delphi Community Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Delphi Community had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Rossville Hornets 77-48 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Oracles have suffered against the Hornets since December 23, 2021.

Brayden Thiele-Hahn went supernova For Rossville., shooting 10-for-18 from long range and dropping a double-double with 52 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Thiele-Hahn a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Andrew Woollen, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Coming up, Delphi Community will head out to challenge North White at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rossville, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Western Boone at 7:30 p.m.
