Basketball Recap: Watford City Falls to Williston in First Game of Season

Watford City kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 95-54 defeat at the hands of the Williston Coyotes. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now lost eight in a row.

Williston moved to 1-3 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Watford City will venture away from home to square off against Des Lacs-Burlington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williston, they will be home for the holidays to greet Dickinson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Williston has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 221 points over their last three contests.
