MCC had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Beacon Academy Trailblazers by a score of 37-24.

MCC found their leader in sophomore Sundes Taboo, who posted 16 points.

MCC is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Beacon Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

MCC will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Islamic Foundation at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st. Beacon Academy has already played their next contest (against Christian Heritage Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
