Norwich was the 6-3 winner over Johnson City when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Tornadoes' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Zack Parker made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Johnson City, they moved to 2-13 with that win, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwich will challenge Seton Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnson City, they will host Horseheads at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
